Blognotes in “Social structures” (SW 1)

SoSci Module 3.3 (Social Structures) is the next upcoming event. The room is totally overcrowded. People are standing in the hall already to be able to listen to this lecture. Its the same room as yesterday for the other SoSci lecture. The lecturer, Mr Nokielski, didn’t show up until now, so lets wait on.
The air in this room slowly gets thick as a brick. Mr Nokielski just came and told us to wait until 14:45. Thats another 30 minutes away from now. He left us here, only telling us, he had to finish an exam.
There are now about 100 people in this room .. perhaps… no for sure more. This rooms in R12R06A Are all for about 50 people. I’m very happy to have a seat at a table. Currently, it seems like 5 states, you can be in in here:

  1. Sitting at a table
  2. Sitting on a chair without a table
  3. Sitting on the ground
  4. Standing inside the room
  5. Standing outside the door

Seems like I am the proud owner of one of these 40 seats w/ table :) for FREE :) .

After this, i’m going to Marl, with Eimann, for planing ELUG Linux days in the Unperfekthaus Essen.
But first… wait on.

Watching the current room situation, I, The Starseeker, promise to create a T-Shirt with the two sentences on it:
"Giving you cordial hugs for your seat / Giving away this seat for a cordial hug"
(because a comment refers to the word heartly… I corrected heartly to cordial, that seems to exist, if you ask dict.leo.org. I promise to look there even more often ;) )

Mr Nokielski is there at least. He is apparently not as unreliable as his comrade from yesterday, who didn’t show up at all. We are about 30 people in a classroom like chamber with a beamer and so on. I already noticed that this nokielski guy talks alot and very slow. Currently there are some problems with the beamer that doesn’t like the notebook.
Damn it. My pencil ran out of ink and i lent the spare one to Thomas, so i have to stop writing now for a moment.

Intermezzo

I just was in the refectory for the first time and had a steak. It tasted somehow between awful and unforgivably bad, but minding the number of people they have to serve i might be able to forgive. In the refectory, I lost Thomas somewhere, but met Marc, someone who was in my class before graduation. Its kind of funny, that the people I am around with at the university have the same names as my old 2 bosses at $Company.
Currently, its about 13:00 and I’m sitting in front of the “Schuetzenbahn 70″-Building, writing this to you with my freshly bought pencil. Marc told me, where to get one. I’m relieved a bit, because on 14:00 my first “Programming” lecture begins. I’d have gotten mad if I hadn’t had a pencil then.
Having to wait is sometimes hard, if you don’t have something to kill time with… and its still an hour left! Please dont’t mind if I write on. But first, i’m going inside now.
After a small visit at the 00 (don’t panic, its not for auto reversing the steak!) I’m waiting on now for my first JAVA programming lecture. What a fun!
